What is Yoga Nidra?  Yoga Nidra is an ancient tool used to transform your life, simply through setting an Intention and then relaxing into stillness.  It is one of the most effective methods to unleash the healing power within each of us.  Through letting go of activity, focusing on the breath, and dropping into silent stillness, you enter the place of wisdom and healing deep within you -- the Zero Stress Zone.
What does it mean?  The literal translation of "nidra" is "sleep."  However, Yoga Nidra is a dynamic state, different from the unconscious sleep of slumber.  It is a conscious, alert state of awareness where you are neither awake nor asleep; a state where deep healing takes place on all levels.
How does it work?  Yoga Nidra works through a sequence of simple guided techniques using the breath and body awareness to enter progressively deeper states of inner stillness where the actual root causes of stress and dis-ease can be resolved and dissolved.  Changes in your life are made by simply setting a conscious Intention and then letting go.
